These are the terms for using Gofinity. They are short because the service is small: you write Go, we run it, and you can leave whenever you like.
Your account
You need to be able to hold an account in your own right, and the email address you sign up with has to be yours. Keep your password to yourself — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. One person, one account.
The code you submit
Your solutions stay yours. By submitting them you give us permission to store them, run them in our sandbox, show them back to you, and — when you have public solutions turned on — display them on the challenge page for other people to read. Turning that setting off, or deleting your account, withdraws that permission for the future.
Submitted code runs in a container with no network access and a hard time limit. Do not use it to attack anything, to mine anything, or to get at other people's data or at the hidden test files. Automated or abusive use of the runner is grounds for closing an account.
Being a decent participant
Public solutions are read by people who are learning. Do not post abuse, spam or anything unlawful in a solution, a username or a bio, and do not vote to bury a solution you simply disagree with. We can remove content and close accounts that do.
Ask AI
The assistant in the workspace answers questions about the challenge you are on, and only that. Your questions go to a third-party AI service, which is why there is a limit of 30 messages per account per calendar month. Its answers are generated text: they can be wrong, so read them the way you would read a stranger's advice, and never run something it suggests without understanding it.
The challenge content
The challenges themselves are open source and published under the licence in their repository. The site, its name and its design are not covered by that licence.
Availability
The service is provided as is, without warranty. We may change or discontinue features. We try hard not to lose your work, but keep your own copy of anything you would miss — to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or lost time.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time, which removes everything described in the privacy policy. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
